The Defect Examination Dispute Resolution Committee under the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport was established in 2009 under the Article 46-2 of the Housing Act to quickly and fairly resolve the dispute between the tenant and the business entity due to the defect caused by the structural strength of the apartment buildings, which account for 72% of all houses, and resulting from the facility construction. The defect examination means that the personnel in charge judges the presence or absence of a defect occurring by the internal structure of the building or to various facilities, or the presence or absence of a defect about a case of any question or controversy about the government through the defect examination dispute resolution committee. Dispute settlement means solving a dispute according to the situation, based on related laws and regulations, by a mutual understanding between the parties in accordance with a simple procedure in terms of a trial over the dispute over civil affairs related to the defect of the building. www.adc.go.kr Phone: 031-910-4200
